From Rough to Ready: Transforming Neighborhoods One Home at a Time
After 33 residential and multi-family renovations, I have learned a thing or two about how to transform a space. I specialized in finding diamonds in the rough — those forgotten houses that needed the most love in great neighborhoods. Working with a crew, I designed the spaces and served as the contractor. It is a real journey to take a property from a rough state to move in ready. The transformation is amazing. I am completing my final renovation project for re-sell. I will still work on my personal spaces but have decided to transition from renovation and focus more on the community development side of my work. However, I will be partnering with others to continue that work and can connect clients to great resources for everything from architecture to interior design to carpentry.
HOme Styling
Another design element I bring to my work is to create a wonderful first impression. I am a strong believer in styling a home before it goes on the market. Once a house is listed for sale it is a commodity. You are selling this product. Potential buyers have to walk in the door and fall in love! When I list a property I will walk through and if needed I will make a list of suggestions to prep the house. In addition, I offer a styling service to prepare your home for the market. Fees are set based on the job.
